Part of the price of growing
and the most important part
is truly knowing
that we're partially in a
world of chit
and that we can not quit
However we can surrender
either end up in hell or
arrive back to our sender
At this time we give up
being a contender

Some view giving up as
being a disgraceful taste
oh what a ridiculous waste
maybe done in haste
Others get all tired
then become wired
and it's off they go
end of the show
nothing else to do or know
Then many go with the glow
and regardless follow lifes flow

All and all life can be great
but not if the mind is in
a phucked up state
which is basically the way
quite a few are most of the time
With a closed mind hardly
anything good will sublime
To be perfectly honest
maybe some f'd up crime
reducing one lower than slime
