The Wanderers

You must be a wanderer like I..

Parted souls roving deep within

the strange silence

that once was life..

A storyteller of the past..

A watchful eye that does not rest..

Never sets like the dying sun..

It will burn and you will fade..

as memories before you were washed away..

by the sands of time.

No one stands in the way of the wanderers..

For they are not seen

nor heard

nor felt.

Beautiful are they who speak of  times long past..

And only we know what the shadows hold.

You felt my presence before..

And you will again.

You will follow..

Your mind will travel the same miles as I have..

to seek what is our past.
