This was written to me about me... by a friend Barry Trusty after reading my Autobiography. Not published yet but working on it. This was my friends first poem. I was impressed. As I am sure you at AD will be also. Thanks for reading as always .. my soul mates. For those of you who don't know my indian name is Ivory spirit. ***************************************

The determined child climbs.. To the love of her mother.. Intensity in each small step.. Tiny hands grasp upward.. Only to be slapped away.. Time and time again the toddler tries.. Against opposition.. ten times her size.. But, this two year old doesn't cry.. Her ivory skin and blue eyes.. refuse to feel tears.. Understanding not of impassion.. She will try again tomorrow.. and the day after that.. For God was wise to give this child an Ivory spirit that could not be broken. Barry Trusty For Erica
