She stands on the edge
looking down..
Her whole life..
just a run-around..
People judging her..
what's wrong ..
what's right.
She wants to end it
all tonight.
The fighting
for understanding
Has taken it's toll..
Some things have to be lived ..
to know.
She is tired of being rejected ..
Then blamed
when someone else
feels neglected..
You sit in judgment
and wonder why..
But you were not there
when she cried..
You cannot know
the pain she feels..
She doesn't have to show it ..
for it to be real...
No one to talk to ..
that really understands..
When she tried to explain
they all just ran.
She knows that
life isn't always fair..
But why can't she have
one person who cares..
She closes her eyes
gets ready to fall..
She knows when she jumps
that will be all.
No more pain..
No more sorrow..
No more guilt..
No tomorrow.

this was a deep and emotional poem very dark and haunted also wonderful job on it though

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
