Black Sunshine....

On a whim

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Black sunshine from my eyes.. Darkness of my eyes.. steals the light.. I wonder why.. I am meant to roam this life.. as if I'm blind.. I can see the light only in my mind.. A distant illumination .. Of a life I hope to find.. I try see through blackness.. But time after time.. I see Black sunshine.. Shadows on your face.. I can't see yours.. Wonder if you see mine.. Black sunshine all from me.. Wish I could rid my eyes of this haunting disease.. Black sunshine Black sunshine.. hides your face.. Black sunshine Black sunshine Keeps you away.. It is here to protect me.. It knows not of my hearts decay.. From loneliness filled with darkened days It only knows of protection.. My black sunshine.. My fear.. My hostage.. My prisoner.. My only safe place.
