    ~~ Lucky! and Boo! ~~

       Halloween Eve
       Celestial orange full moon
       Two blackest of cats
       Watching intently, impish
       None too close

       One black cat
       Climbing up the tree
       Jumping on the witches broom
       Off into the stary night
       Broom !  Broom !

       Halloween ghosts
       Goblins of ole  eek!

       Owl, wide eyes bright
       Seen out our
       Frosted window
             
       Hoo'a  Hoo'a
       Hoooooooooooooo ! !

       Children dress in costumes
       Playful make believe
       Candy to a colourful
       Orange 'n' Black sack

       Lucky and Boo
       Blackest of Cats

       We watch for your
       Silhouettes ore
       Orange celestial full moon
       Witches broom flying two
       Blackest of Cats
       Lucky ! and Boo !

I will be on the lookout for those two feline phantasms. Slinking about looking to cause mayhem. Perhaps, if I'm so inclined, I might leave a bowl (for them) of kibbles laced with candy corn, or, perhaps a freshly squished rat in eel eyeball sauce. Yikes! Cute poem, Lady Mary Ann, that conjures well some of the fun of 'All Hallows Eve'. (-: Peace...
