Pristine ~ Did You Hear It Snowing

             Frosty 'n' white snowfall lying on the pines

             A little boy of blonde hair, bright brown

             Inquisitive eyes...came to his mama's room

            Mama did you hear it snowing ?

            I opened my window mama.. I measured the

            Snow with my wooden measure.. twelve

            Inches.. to the top of my measure !

            Oh !   mama can we play in the snow

            To make a snowman, snow angels

            Please get up quick it's time to play

            in the snow..may Sarah come

           Aft our breakfast of early morning,

           Bundling up with warm clothing, boots

           Hats, mittens, wool lined muffs

           Snowing snowflake by  snowflake

           Beautifully crystalized diamond

           Snowflakes

           A snowman to start...rolling...rolling

           Carrot for the nose, black top hat, coal for

           His eyes and a scarf to throw back

           For the winds to make him look

           Like the snowman is dancing

           Snow angels twinkled bright in the

           Pristine snowy land for angels above

           To see their movement of joy

           A snow fort built by papa's big hands

          Cut the squares..piled up high

          Snow balls to throw

          Whistling too and fro

          The little boy and Sarah shiver cold

          Hearth to keep warm, mittens tossed

          A cup of hot coco..warm sugar cookies

          Sticks of licorace will do

          Oh mama! what fun for Sarah and I 

          Mama, Mama you didn't answer my

          Question this early morning

          Mama did you hear it snowing ?
