An evening mild
Conversing beguiled
A kiss of delicate bliss
Glorious flavour

A flower to savour
No moon this night
Witnessed by starlight

Her beauty seen, dressed
In night-time serene
Her figure of delight

Silent winter still
Another kiss I steal
Cupid's flight departs
An auburn arrow forever
Buried deep within my heart

Oh my goodness... one of your very best, Andy! Delightful flow and sprung rhythm to this (not as in Gerard Manley Hopkins, but it trips along like stepping stones!) and lovely internal and external rhymes. So delicate and light which depicts the bliss of that kiss wonderfully... and its lingering, perfumed aftertaste. BINGO! :)) xx
