Poem Artwork

The sun rises at dawn

Dawn wakes her son

The son sees the sea

The sea sees

The waves wave

The skies blue

Blew the clouds

The wind winds

The windmill

The tree fell

In the Fell

The shooting star

Shoots the night sky.

I love this clever poem Andy!
I particularly like the last two lines…( I too love Shooting Stars)
The inclusion of motion in this piece is so cleverly written!

Reminds me of the leg bone connected to the shin bone connected to the ankle bone…

Ending with some interesting action by action words like fell and shoot.

And all's well that ends well.
I thought about the bee's knees but
that would be too easy. Fun time with words, Andy.

I like the abstract jaunt of this poem, Andy. It has a feeling of flight and colossal motion, of sound. With these lines being so short, even the form of this poem has velocity, and I really like “Dawn wakes her son/The son sees the sea” — those are two curious and uniquely-written happenings…so succinct, so effective. ~~ djl
