HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Happy birthday to my first born,
my favorite son.
I hope you have a good day
filled with smiles and fun.
you were a bundle of joy
with healthy lungs and a big temper
for such a tiny little boy.
Now you are an adult,
no longer Mama's baby.
You caught the garter at your sister's wedding.
Now go find your special lady.
You've had some struggles.
But haven't we all.
You get up and try again
whenever you take a fall.
If a friend needs help,
who do they ask?
They ask you,
cause you'll tackle any task.
You can always
be depended upon in a pinch.
You can also be stubborn,
refusing to give an inch.
Count your blessings
this special day.
You are loved by many,
many more than I could ever say.
Happy birthday again
and again and again.
May you have lots more years
to celebrate with friends.
