Today you turn 31
and look no more than 20.

It seems like only yesterday
we brought our baby girl home.
Now you've gorwn up, married,
and have a home of your own.

Over the years I watched you grow.
You are very beautiful and very kind,
with a very tender heart
and a very witty mind.

You bring your friends laughter,
always ready with many smiles.
You can be depended upon
to help a loved one walk those difficult miles.

You work hard every day,
serving others is what you do.
Bring that burger, deliver that drink,
"Hey, over here.  I'll have one too."

But when the day ends
and you lay your head down to rest,
Those you met along the way
will be the first to say you are the best.
