Poem Artwork

Beauty!
Proud be not.
Everything is beautiful.

You are,
not limited
to only one object.

Nor you are
limited
to only one person.

You are diverse,
you evolve
with the time.

You are complex,
you are as vague
as the life.

You are cavernous,
you are as colossal
as the sky.

You cannot
be found
in a single source.

You are
in the drop of nectar
as well as in the venom.

You are
in the darkness of the light
and in the light of the darkness.

Because of the
correlation of all things
with each other.

..."Because of the correlation of all things with each other"... Beauty is the thing that holds the universe in creative tension - it's other name is Love. Both Beholder and Object encounter beauty when they encounter love. Beauty of itself can be it's very own travesty - harsh and cruel. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen (and which moved me to tears!) is disease-ridden and deformed fingers delicately fingering a rough, wooden prayer-cross. Your truth, as usual, is profound here, Bhuwan. Thank you for this. Kate xx

One person's trash is another's treasure....and so your words so aptly suggest, both nectar and venom have their own beauty. Bravo!!

Beauty is an undefinable adjective that changes with the attitude of the viewer, your poem is beauty that will not change. Well done, my friend.

Bhuwan, before I read your poem, the song "Everything Is Beutiful" came to mind. And the poem has the same fine quality as the song.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend, but there are certain things we commonly agree on as beautiful, and this is what
makes beauty so pleasant to behold. You see a star and I see a star and we as a unit know inside that this is beautiful. But many times beautfy itself changes form and becomes something else to us. Enjoyed this postulated idea. Your friend Bill
