Poem Artwork

I know…
The grief of the happiness
and the destiny of its soul.
The debilities of the evolution
and the future of this world.

I know…
The infidelity of the system
and the fidelity of the poor.
The dissonance of the surplus
and the vicious circle of the dearth.

I know…
The river of integrity
and the swimmers of disparity.
The stars of freedom
And the moon of suppression.

I know…
The hope of the hopeless
and the tears of the rain.
The moan of the virgin
and the chattels of the dream.

I know…
The wound of the rose
and the balm of the thorn.
An orgasm of the whore
and the shade of the rainbow.

I know…
The mystery of the dog’s tail
and the illusion of the reality.
The voltage of the lightning
and the velocity of the wind.

I know…
The cusp of global integration
and the fragrance of the unity.
The bright side of the darkness
and the world as it really isn’t.

Yet, I march on with my life
as if I know nothing at all.
As if I don’t care at all.
As if I am closer
to death than the life.

I know everybody and everything.
But if you ask me who I am
I will not be able to answer you.
I know all else, myself I will never know.
I know all else, myself I will never know.

Excellent poetry. To know oneself is most difficult. Do we ever achieve this aspect in life? I think we do, with time, age and wisdom. Just when we think we know, we change! Life goes on and so do we, always wondering no doubt. You have handled this subject in a way that is beautiful and makes each reader stop and think.

Bhuwan, you said everything correctly and with great wisdom but in the end you said you know not about yourself while claiming to know everything else. How come, Bhuwan? You provoked my thoughts and I thank you for the deep insight you painting the true picture of reality and life.

Dear Bhuwan,
Wonderful.
I know everybody and everything.
But if you ask me who I am
I will not be able to answer you.
I know all else, myself I will never know.
I know all else, myself I will never know.

You are very close to the reality. You will certainly know about yourself one day, you will certainly realise what is life, you will certainly perceive the fact and be happy on that, just... just go on, go ahead of your thinking with your experiences.

Really wonderful.

Dear Bhuwan,

I know, that the heart of this man speaks words of wisdom and in timeless creations. Messages in poetry, conveyed from the soul with depth, understanding and compassion. I know, that one never really ever knows ones self, if the heart is of a caring nature to learn and know all else, and make it a lifes challenge in doing so. But I know, that in a small moment in time, you should look within and discover what really lies beneath.

Profound message that many should heed, instead of being so self centered at all times. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece ... Poet.

warm hugs

Bhuwan:

I know who you are - a wonderful caring person!...and that's enough for me to like you as a friend.

We all have this feelings about ourselves. I question myself most of the time -

It's not due to my own makings that I have to question myself, it's mainly and mostly because of my closest relatives who make me wonder who I am. This is a sad part of me, but I have learned to love them and have loyally devoted many hours of my time to them -

though I continue to be disappointed.

Bhuwan, I learn more about myself everyday. It's amazing how little I've known about who I am for most of my life. I agree with Marion. Since we are constantly growing, (or should be) it is hard to know a person who is in a continual state of evolution even if it is yourself. The structure and imagery of your poem is stirring, and so true. I thought it was amazing. Blessings, Michelle

Bhuwan I truly know the feeling, and am touched by this piece my friend, perhaps because we are in a constant state of growth it is hard to know ourselves. A comforting thought but sad at the same time. Peace and blessings, and hope.

Wonderful insight here Bhuwan. WE think we know ourselves. I attended a symposium once. It's title was "What you think you know_ you know...you DON'T know" . It was an eye opener. Thanks my friend. Peace & harmony.

...It's maybe because you are a flawless diamond that just perfectly reflects the light; a pure and faithful conduit of love and grace; an unblocked channel through which pours an incessant stream of healing and life-giving waters. Devoid of self, but the wealth and treasure of those whose life you continue to bless with your care and attention. And it is because you are so blissfully unselfconscious that you are imbued with the knowledge and wisdom of all things. If you know God, Bhuwan, then see yourself there because I am sure you are his mirror image in many ways: A man after His own heart and with His understanding. You demonstrate well the Bible statement that it is the meek who will inherit the earth. And so it will be. You exhibit the same characteristics and sense of purpose as Mother Teresa. God be with you, and with your friends and children as He continues to work His purposes out through you. You are a very special man. And a GREAT poet as well! Thank you for this. Kate xx

We are always the last to know ourselves.I think it is
Creators design that we concentrate on others and forget
ourselves, as you have been doing my friend. Yet, we must
take some time to feel comfortable with ourselves, to meditate
on our priorties. All the best to you!

"I know…
The hope of the hopeless
and the tears of the rain.
The moan of the virgin
and the chattels of the dream.

I know…
The wound of the rose
