Poem Artwork

"Life is not permanent-
it might not be there
when you wake up tomorrow.
Don't get addicted to yourself only."
Set yourself free from yourself
and taste life with all its sweetness.
Go, stroll beyond your own life
and explore the life of those
who are struggling for their survival
on the battlefield of hunger and strife.
Go, unearth the humanitarian legacies
and carry them forward for the
betterment of the humanity.
Go, you dont have right to be in the bed
when the poor farmers are already
out in the field with their spades.

Dear friend,
Very few of us are brave enough to understand and admit that there is no worst "jailer" than our own selfishness...
Once more, your wisdom and your beautiful heart glow in your masterful poetry. Hope that all is well with you and those in your care.

Don't get addicted to yourself only

Very sage, and very heartfelt, and I truly hope many take heed, Bhuwan.

I have come across here having written myself upon just this theme today, Bhuwan. But I doubt whether I could ever convey the sense of urgency, poignancy and REALITY that you breathe into this compelling write... you are LIVING your talk, not just speaking it and therein lies the difference. In your bio you say that anyone can write a poem, but only few can make their work BREATHE; your life and breath are in this write and you succeed where I fail. The Ace also says that a poet should aspire to become a living poem - that makes you a true poet as well as a committed humanitarian. You are a rare person indeed. I salute you as always and hope you picked up my message from your board today... God be with you and may He prosper and protect you and your little ones. Praying always. Kate xx
