Poem Artwork

I have no
fear of death.
It is the life
that frightens me.
I myself
have become
a burden to me.

I am ashamed
of myself.
I cannot defend
myself from me.
I am my own
worst enemy.
O death!
Come and rescue me.

I’ve played
with the heart.
Such a ruthless
beast I am.
I’ve done
enough evil
in my life
to be called
a beast
and not a man.

“Oh, What a sinner,
I am!”
I’ve sinned
and for this sin
there is no forgiveness.
Amnesty is death.

I never did a thing,
worthwhile in my life
but now, I want to
do something.
I want to,
wreck my neck
with my own hands,
and wave good-bye
to this world
with smiles in my eyes.

Ah! But I have
one last request
to you all.
Listen, O, my friends!
When I die,
chop my body
into pieces
and scatter them
amongst the birds of prey.
For a sinner like me
should not be cremated.

Dear Bhuwan,

A thought provoking write, I will be honest in saying that I am not entirely sure on how to comment on this one! Indeed life can be frightening, but death too, is not welcome. If God is love, I do believe His decree is forgiveness, even to the most horrific crimes he is all forgiving. Would you sacrifice making savages of your friends? requesting you be dismembered and fed to the birds of prey? Then too are making them feel unworthy! The whole concept seems strange!

An excellent write Bhuwan... complex but still great.

warm hugs

Bhuwan, this is certainly powerful, though it just feels off-kilter with the typical spirit of your work. I'm pretty certain I'm just missing another level intended.... Take care, Dawn

My friend Bhuwan everybody has sinned and greatest sin is to wish death as a final way out to a peaceful life. Excellent poetry.

A profound expression of poetic tasks dealing on ontologic
and theological dogmatic concepts.

I can see the esoteric that is behind the letters, and I see
the pictures very clear.

I am impressed with the satirical, surreal and symbolistical colors
in this painting named, "I myself have become a burden to me."

My Dear Bhuwan we have all sinned at some times in our lives, you above all have so much to give and share. To lose you would be a greater loss than your losing yourself..My friend you are too worthy to lose or be lost...stay the course...stay strong..Peace, love and blessings....Mikii

In order to be free, one must see self, and the doors of love and peace shall enter, oh what a force when the fires inside refuse to be release, the haunting of the soul will know longer stand within until it is clean, blessings I hope everyone shall read this, it is a master peace to thy own self be true.

But of course, this could not possibly be autobiographical - although most of us feel like this at one point or another - often after having accomplished something worthwhile and then feeling we have taken a subsequent tumble in one direction or another. Such sentiments as these can only come from the most highly evolved and sensitive of spirits who are eternally aware of their own shortcomings. THEY are the ones who have least to fear and the least to be ashamed of. Man of objective wisdom and deep understanding, if you can hear the words of all who dispute this poem as being true of you - which it surely is - then you will be able to humbly accept that, although this is the sincere feelings you have of yourself right now, that they are, in fact, not the truth and that it is your own, pure and overwrought heart that is soooo very vulnerable - through exhaustion, like as not - that it is totally wrung out and mis-signalling to your mind. Your initial lines about fearing life rather than death are profound. These come from one who has stared death in the face and come to terms with it - and who is wide-eyed and aware of the horrors that can be inflicted, often man on man, by remaining in the mortal coil. Physical death can only bother us once, whereas living in "daily death" can be an intolerable burden that torments the soul more than the act of dying. No matter what "playing with the heart" may have taken place, I believe that the original motive would be rooted and grounded in good intent. Self-loathing is the greatest punishment anyone could endure. Searing write in what I trust is an assumed voice. Please be well and imbued with a righteous self-confidence. LOL Kate xx

Oh my Bhuwan! Creator is saying,"STOP! don't hurt the beautiful man of wisdom I have created in you. Just rest in Me, the I AM, for awhile, until you get your discernment back."

Bhuwan, my friend, we may, in fact, ultimately become our worst enemies... but even when at such war with ourselves, there is a Light that can still be found. It's not unattainable, it's not even remote... it is within us. And it glows bright, helping us out of darkness and into loving ourselves again. Because we are, primarily and intrinsically, our own liberators, if only we learn to forgive ourselves, accept that we are not perfect, and are willing to grow. And you have that Light in you... I have been one of those blessed by its glow, which you share. And so have many others.
Endless Blessings of Love&Light*

There is redemption if only we would allow ourselves to be human. Touching; I like the dark side of our soul because that's where the understanding begins.

Others may find this to be not only depressing and almost sinful, since you stated you have sinned against mankind and yourself, but damn Bhuwan, I wish I had thought of the title, as I know I could make a hell of a humorous poem out of that...you may find that you're more humor bent than you think...wonderful work...Find a Piece and maybe things will look up...;) Ed

Bhuwan, I think we all fall short of the expectations we set for ourselves, sometimes. Sometimes our wants and desires over-shadow what we morally know we should be doing. There is no person who has done nothing good in their life, as there is no person who has not exposed their evil side. Life is a struggle to pull ourselves up from the darkness and into the light. Perhaps you have stumbled from a rung on the ladder of insightfulness, but you still possess the ability to climb upward. Pity yourself not for the revelations you have made, for you are now in a position to choose another pathway to righteousness.
Take care,
Sherry

A very realistic write of one who regrets greatly of what he has done. But God is very forgiving. He, who choose to change, will be forgiven by God.

But you are hardly a sinner, Bhuwan! You are the most caring and compassionate being I've ever known! May God bless you!
