Poem Artwork

 In the tiny crevices

in the mountainside

he found her footholds.

He cringed,

and gave them a call.

They disinterred the body

and held an autopsy.

“A girl committed suicide

and buried herself in the mountainside,”

came a report in the next day’s paper.

He laughed

and prostrated himself

before the idol of Justice.

“Justice is nothing

but just an ice for me.

When will the justice live solely

 on the strength of justice?”

They heard him murmuring.

a salutary tale, Bhuwan. They say that "the Law is an Ass", but what's more appalling is that it often treats those it seeks to serve like one, too. This ruling needs an ice axe to pick away at its obvious flaws... the truth can all too clearly be seen beneath and will quickly be revealed. A very good allegory. Love, Kate xx
