It is not Whom we love But how we love Makes us a better lover It is not What we gather But what we scatter Makes us a better creature It is not What we observe But what we perceive Makes us a better admirer It is not How long we live But how we live Makes us a better Samaritan It is not How we smile But how we make people laugh Makes us a better healer It is not What we speak But how we converse Makes us more adorable It is not What we anticipate But what we accept Makes us more sagacious It in not What we win But how we win Makes us more victorious It is not Our ambition But our resolution Makes us more vigorous It is not Our prayers But our forgiveness Makes us more religious Copyright 2003 Bhuwan Thapaliya
