Quicksand of heart

Poem Artwork

Love is a mansion
Build over the quicksand of heart
So diminish your arrogance and sprinkle
The perfume of compassion and solidarity to all
For love is ephemeral and you might sink
Like the waterlogged boat in the ocean of time
Upon the advent of autonomous flood
If you don’t have friends to drag you back
Into the safety of the land and assist you
To build again the mansion of love
Over the stable rock of conscientious love
