You can always have generosity.
Do not be racist,
You can always have solidarity.
Do not be disgraced
You can always have dignity
Do not be immoral
You can always have morality
Do not be materialistic
You can always have spirituality
Do not be alone
You can always have friendship
Because,
God is with you
You were never alone
You are never alone

Has more than one meaning. Check it out!
In the 18th. Century, it almost always meant the same thing as it does in French (and that's the only hint I'm giving).... that meaning is not resurfacing in English. And no wonder.
