Poem Artwork

They know you are hungry
but food they will give you not
to get food you have to work
but work they will give you not
because you are too lean to work
and those fat bastards trust you not.
But you cannot fight with them,
they are not like you; they are different,
you eat adversity but they honesty
you drink disgrace but they the truth
you breathe peace but they anarchy
for they were born to derail the humanity
and prickle the supple core of, “Mother Earth”,
with the mutinous illusion of malicious thorn.

Oh Bhuwan only a master poet delves so deeply into ones soul. We must never forget to be humble when our accident of birth places us in seats above poverty but never can we not forget the pain of others.
My heart cries often when I see the ungrateful ones around me.
PEACE AND LOVE MY BROTHER BURN THE TRUTH INTO OUR SOULS ESPECIALLY FOR EYES WHICH REFUSE TO OPEN. Hum maybe I'll write about that.

I agree with what the others have said. Bhuwan, if your words and this picture does not open our eyes, then I don't know what will!
Much wisdom in your poetry, and so powerfully penned!

Such paradoxes truly shame us all. Will mankind ever learn?

Someday, soon, Bhuwan...the world will see a reverse
of this...but not through any corrupt government or
greedy mankind.
Just as humans have limits as to what they can tolerate
with the suffering of others, so does the Almighty.
He did not create us to suffer. Selfish mankind brought
on suffering, and selfish mankind is what will be done
away with, by a Power far higher than themselves.
May the thought of that bring you a small measure of Peace,
my poet friend.

You touched on a very sensitive topic, why are there children starving, we send food in to them by plane loads, and government leaders, sell it.

Paradoxes are indeed threatening to wipe out all the pure and primeval dignity of the human spirit. Since stark reason has failed to change this, perhaps the sensitive soul of artists will, through their poetry, prose, paintings, music and other expressions, enlighten the path to peace and justice. May you be blessed for your infinite wisdom and contributions to a better world, my friend.

My God! This is real and it takes the words of a poet to make us feel the depth of despair for sp many in this world.
I've missed you greatly. I'm still a gypsy for my company and traveling but that will end soon and I'll be back here with my peers.
I welcome the day. Best of love my friend and warm that side of our world for me.
Love,
Susan
