Bones creaking, joints squeaking,
skeleton zapped, quaking,
marrow opened, leaking.
Elbows, knees, bent with ease
all joints designed to please.
Old bones don't 'give' when squeezed.
Couldn't find Hell ...
old bones set sail.
Backs bend never-ending,
control is transcending,
breaks heal, ever-mending.
Ankles, hips--turn, twist, rip--
humans falter, trip, slip.
Too much water sinks ships.
Skeleton crews
revolt make muscles ooze.
Calcium makes bones strong
so they rise ... hold life-long.
Brittle bones would be wrong.
Rattles--no muscles--whoop
still the body can stoop
pelvic swings hula hoops.
Couldn't find Hell ...
old bones set sail.
Rest in peace underneath
grasses watered with grief
and piled with flowers, a wreath.
Each night bones dance anew
scaring all souls--e'en you;
that is what skeletons do.
Skeleton crews
revolt make muscles ooze.
Bones joined--all connected;
minds gone--ant ingested
leaves graves well protected.
The fortunate inherit riches, prestige, positive notoriety. Those not so lucky bear legacies filled with poverty, infamy or, worse yet, the unhinged insanity and murderous urges of their ancestors.
