I believe God knows us inside and out as He lives in each heart.
He, Then, Read Me
He … looked in my eyes
heard my beating heart,
felt my pulse jump, start
and, then, He read me.
All colors and white--
precious to His sight--
in the twilight He
will quietly read Thee.
Ev’ry thought crisp, clear
there aren’t any secrets
else there’d be regrets …
and THAT cannot be.
Gift of purest love
the Son from above
is most comforting
though He can read me.
My continence surged
though I fought the urge
to keep lies submerged …
stiffened humbly.
All colors and white--
precious to His sight--
in the twilight He
will quietly read Thee.
.He felt rhythm change
the chords rearranged
with ease.It was strange …
though He knows me well.
Gift of purest love
the Son from above
is most comforting
though He can read me.
But He read me in
from a life of sin …
lost eternity.
From Him one can’t flee
