Do dreams really come true ? What if?
******

Poem Artwork

Somewhere, Somehow, Someday

Times may keep us apart,
my dear heart,
but, life owes us a start.
Each kiss is pure bliss.
Surely love is this ...
a dream birthed of wish.
Somewhere, somehow, someday,
love will find a way,
roses bend, petals splay,
we'll blend ... if only for a day.
Love comes our way
nevermore to stray.
Our differences are nil.
Love you still
as, always, I will.
Somewhere, somehow, someday,
all else at bay,
love will find a way.
Those who come between us
are they right, just?
Feelings emerge--
we're at loves' gate--
with no escape.
Somewhere, somehow, someday.
come what may,
love will--
it must,
it's just--
love will find a way
to stay.

Is it not a poets destiny to have their dreams come true? I would think so...and hope yours follows this path. Certainly 'true love' you write about...from experience?

A great write on a great theme Sandra for we can never stop dreaming or give up on love. We may be sidetracked at times but still just around the bend is always another tomorrow and who knows what it can bring...we just have to keep believing.
