Illustrated poetry with my art and poetry from my ebook, "Allure".

From “Hello”

Yours from "Hello".
How could I ever let you go?
Within simmered an inner glow.
We fell in love ... I watched you go
quickly,
completely,
resolutely.

Each good-bye, cry;
beating-heart skips. Wistful, I sigh
wondering ... will THIS last, pass by,
hang me out on a line to dry,
slowly,
easily,
tragically?

Yours till we die--
summoned to heavenly sky.
Enjoy life! Never question 'why'.
Let things be 'still' ... wher'er they ly.
Love's quest--
no regrets!
Share ... don't be shy.

I'm yours ... you know!
Bid me "Hello"!

Sandra,
I like how you appraoch and express this; the short poignant stabs of language have their own special beauty.
Good to see you post again.

Ah but dear Sandy; I have found that regrets do come and they linger and time does not heal the scars of love lost or misplaced. Thank you. Love and blessings to you,

Regis
