Jesus teaches at the feast

John 7:14-18 NIV

Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach. The Jews were amazed and asked,"how did this man get such learning without having studied?" Jesus answered, "my teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him".

 

In all that we do, and say
therefore say it proclaiming first
the name of Jesus.

For as Jesus went forth teaching,
did he, Himself do so in His Fathers name
not of his own.

In all that we do, and say
Give thanks and glory to the Lord
lest we edify ourselves.

For as Jesus went forth Preaching,
did he, Himself do so in His Father name
not of his own.

In all that we do, and proclaim
of healing, and encouraging
do so in Christs name

For as Jesus went forth Healing
did he, Himself do so in His Fathers name
not of his own

For as the Son of God relied upon the Father
Teaching, Preaching, Healing, casting out demons
by first calling upon the Father's name, thanking him and giving praise to HIS Father first,

Then so are we to follow this example!
