Poem Artwork

First love oh how I remember those wonderful days and the constant butterflies that never go away every time he came my way.

Making a brand new start, as you never want to part and cannot stop thinking of the other as visions of them are constantly floating in your head.

What a splendid feeling as you found a love so dear and always want them near.

It becomes clear that mommies little boy is no longer as he wondered off falling in love as they sure grow up fast.

One minute their pulling on your apron string and the next they are going on a date.

The fondest memories always will last and there are now more to come.

When you must let go and know that you brought them up right too always see the light knowing right from wrong, as you are not alarmed.

Most of all my son you know mother’s golden rule always treat her right and like a lady is suppose to be treated .

Since your love for her is so true please never make her blue.

As a mother your heart sings for your sons when they find love and weeps if they lose it. Warm and sweet poem.

All these many years later, sixty to be exact, I still remember the girl that I first truly loved. As far as my children, your words of advice and hope are a given.
