Genesis 38! I'm just fascinated by all the stories in The Bible that contradict the "doctrine" of today's church.

Jude and Sexy Tamar Jude walked all the way to Timnah Seeking comfort from a woman Dressed in red by the city gate Tamar’s face covered by her veil. Passion flowed in the setting sun Soft touching lips and fingertips Gliding across smooth bare skin Her body aching wanting more. She opened up and took him in He shook and trembled to the end Payment missing when the sun came up Promised a kid from his flock. A pledge he gave her to close the deal His signet on its cord around his neck Tamar gently kissed his lips Still hiding her face behind the veil. He sent the kid from his flock Wanted his corded signet back Tamar, the prostitute wasn’t found He couldn’t have her tracked. Three months later, Jude was told His daughter-in-law was a whore “Bring her out and burn the bitch!” She held out his signet and cord. Word was out Tamar was good And soon gave birth to his twins Jude didn’t touch her ever again But gave her to his youngest son. © 2010 Dayvid Graybill

Such a telling tale. When I first read this days ago, the sun set and then it rose again as I spent my days writing about prostitutes and the passion they have for life and spirit of biblical OLD, the days of raw lust and savage desire...things are not always what they appear to be...this is a wonderful telling, Dayvid.
