Kisses, even to the air, are beautiful. Drew Barrymore
Did The Wind Rape The Ocean
Where does love go, when its withdrawn Does it hover in darkness....awaiting the dawn By grey mist of whispers, fading thru clouds Does it echo in heaven, as a prayer......as a vow
Where are the traces that once laced two souls Did they freeze in the climax, by which love took hold Was the reaching too far, was the summit too high Did the wind rape the ocean.....blowing it dry
Where is the grave, where endearments may sleep Where tears can be shed....where mourner may weep Can hearts hold embraces.......if no arms there Where does love go......does it vanish..... in air
Good questions in this great poem, Anita! Well done!
