TONES A FIRM IMPRESSION

Every thought the heart does hold
Cries out for free expression
What once was barred, arises bold
And tones a firm impression

When thought transcends, and births as deed
Confinment poles the edge
To penetrate, and plant the seed
Caressed in moistened bed

Loved eyes may sigh, so satisified
To feel love....so displayed
As inclinations lure collide
Deep rivet braces sway

For words float cast upon the air
Fall capture to the winds
But when they're kissed by lips of pair
They're guided back.....within

Loved the metaphor and imagery in this - AS EVER!! The juxtaposition of the moist, soft bed of the heart versus the cold steel bars of imprisonment. Wonderful paradox that, having "broken its shackles", love desires to be locked in that wondrous prison of "the secret place" again - well, that's my take on it anyway!! Your rhythm and flow are dreamy, as always! Another beaut, Anita! TY Kate xx
