He who would move the world must first move himself~Edward Erickson BY MANNER MOST PREFERRED Why dance, when you can sit And watch the others whirl? The wall's a cosy fit... And spinning makes you hurl Why sing, when you can cry And bathe your face in tears? Sob a heavy sigh..... Revive all your fears! Why laugh when you can groan And snivil up a storm? Complain, rant and moan....... And use the worst of form! Why ask when you can nag Pester.....bully.....ride? Intimidate and brag....... Scare them to your side! Why bother with respect Who needs the cordial word? We reap what we project....... By manner most preferred! Pax A

Up until the last two stanzas, my answer is, "Because every bone in my body hurts and I'm sixty years old." But as a southern girl, I don't brag and I've managed to hold on to my manners. Really cute poem, Anita.

Well, if it works for the cute little fella/fellass in the gorgeous visual, then it's good enough for me!! I love your "dark side of the moon/loon" writes, Anita, and anyway, why should it only be the kids who are allowed to be "truthful" sometimes?! Being a grown-up is not all that it's cracked up to be - perhaps that's why I haven't yet bothered! No bed of roses either - can I swap with the guy in the picture, please?!
