Had a glass of wine, and thought about different woman I have known in my life.........Pax A

TRUTHS COLLISION

no one knew who she was
              Indeed least of all herself
At this point it did not matter
Once the hand was dealt

                    Books and covers are judgement
Strike that statement from the record
She was judged by what was seen
  No more could be expected

All the passing people, all the passing lives
All the masks of survival
 Joggers, daughters wives

Some lives are so simple,
some so  complicated
     some are mapped and plotted
Some are blind and   weighted

Do you see the same as others
When you look into the mirror

They see outward projections
 losers, watchers, winners

Hermit crabs change the shell,
or home becomes a prision
Tight, confinded,   the screwed up mind
               implodes on truth's collision

I think this is a brilliant look into perception, both self perception as well as how the outside world perceives others. Excellent rhyme, rhythm and flow. Well done, Anita!

Everyone sees others as they fancy. Since we don't have telepathy, it is impossible to see into the inner part of otheers, we can only guess...often the wrong guess. Victor

That collision frightens...strong realization excellently expressed. You capture the differences and the difficulties of 'women' in a unique way.

Beautiful thoughts here, Anita, crafted and honed as only you can do in your inimitable rhyming verse. Complex and multi-faceted, such is the many-hued and shaded life of Woman, each a jewel in its own right. I so wish the feminist movement had made more of our strengths in the Feminine, instead of converting us all to female men. The Hand That Rocks The Cradle And All The Other Stuff That Rocks in Life, Rules The World! We would do well to ponder the wonder, as you do here. Bless you for this. Kate xx

Insightful and open look at the reality of the bias of opinion. This goes outside the box in a unique voice that I enjoyed. Well done.
