My oh my, oh what a crisis
I no longer look like Isis
Morning mirror, is a terror
Far from regal as Queen Hera
Goodbye to eyes of Aphroditie
Let them rest well after Friday
No vigor as goddess Diana
Hair a mess, under bandana
Sigh
Exaggeration is my crisis
I am alive and that's the nicest!
a powerful sigh Pax - and a mini-crisis at most -- for surely to us, "I am alive and that's the nicest" -- for we have your creative poetry to enjoy -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael
Too darn right on both fronts... you are VERY much alive and, like me, insatiably prone to weeny fabrications... not the plastic-surgery kind, but in the exaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggeration department! But it sure reads heavenly and you will always be she of whom it can be said (as Tony said of Cleo as quoted by Bill!): "Age will not wither her nor custom stale her infinite variety". A Yummy Mummy that will live exfoliated, moisturised and embalmed in her beautiful words forever. Amen! :)) xx
