Poem Artwork

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music
.......Aldous Huxley

IN DROPLETS UPON STAVES

The sea plays music,
For my eyes in torrents,
Swells, and waves

With salty spray,
Crescendo plays,
In droplets upon staves

Sounds ancient blue,
So fresh and new,
Proffers deep melody

Mists carried by
The wind's song,
Channeled between the seas

Yes to everything that has already been said. This is my first time to read you. It will not be my last. Your poem actually had me sitting on the cliffs above the salt spray and feeling it upon my face. VERY well done.
