To ignore its profundity means
To forget about silent awareness;
You cannot master sitting still
If you are not familiar with
Frenzied races. It is perfect,
Like nothing else, and there is
Nothing lack in its depth, but
Its insight has nothing as excess.
If you discern between opposed ends,
You thus miss its real state of being;
For this reason, do never adhere to
Its outer simplicity, nor stay within
Its internal intricacy. All difference
Ceases once you can see the world
Thru the clear glass of indifference.
Calmness enters your heart by itself
Once all excitements become arrested.
Sticking to sitting still is also a blunder;
If you hold fast to only one of the ends,
How can you taste someday the might
Of integrity -- the tight knot of One?
One is where we start to reach two;
Two presents the completeness of one,
Making way for the number three.
As opposed to the even two, three obtains
The odd nature of one; therefore,
It always comes back to it, producing
A whole bunch of the worldly stuff.
