A friend just sent me another poem that points out how badly our government officials, and our retail corporations have taken JESUS and GOD out of CHRISTMAS.
I personally take great offense at that. Amazingly, or not, I had just finished this poem, when I received theirs, so I already emailed this to all my known PEEPS!
While I do believe in each individual's right to choose what they believe, I do NOT force my beliefs on anyone.
So, if you like this - great - GOD BLESS YOU IMMENSELY !!!
If you don't like it, then - GOD BLESS YOU EVEN MORE !!! IMMENSELY TO THE Nth POWER !!!

Away in a Manger, long, long Ago,
A Family was Completed,
No new-fallen Snow,
The ambient air was different There.
That Brilliant Star had traveled Afar,
They say it came from the East.
It attracted the Drummer Boy, the Magi,
Yes, both Man, and Beast.
The Oxen, the Camels, the Sheep,
All kept Watch and Wondered,
How Blessed and Tender, and Peacefully,
The Newborn Babe did Sleep.
Choirs of Angels assembled and sang in Iamb,
Gloria in Excelsis Dei.
Shepherds Knelt, paid Homage, for they Knew –
THIS WAS THE LAMB!
This was The Night,
The Silent, Holy Night,
T’was sent from God Above,
A Gift to All of Us –
CHRISTMAS LOVE!
Generations would Come and Go,
Nations would Rejoice.
O, Little Town of Bethlehem,
How Great would be thy Voice!
“We bring you Great Tidings of JOY”
Blessed Virgin Mary and Joseph,
Have brought forth to the World,
A Gift from God above – a Boy!
HE shall have many NAMES:
Messiah, Holy Redeemer,
Savior of both Women and Men,
BEHOLD! REJOICE! LOVE AGAIN!
This Tiny Babe, so Soft, so Sweet,
Shall walk the EARTH, and HEAL!
The Sick, the Dead, the Lonely,
The SINNERS, prostrate at HIS FEET!
The Greatest Story Ever Told,
Has been Re-told, Over and Over,
“Peace to Men of Goodwill”
It all began on That Night So Still!
Adeste Fideles! O Come All Ye Faithful!
Give Praise to God Above!
For HE has given you HIS SON - EMMANUEL.
Peace, Joy, Hope, and Eternal, Unending, Ad Infinitum –

Praise the Lord it is terrible they would even try to remove, Christmas, Jesus, God, the nativity I am ashamed of the government and the nation of those that feel we should do this injustice. A wonderful tribute you penned with truth and beauty and honor.

This is the oldest story in the history of the world. It still, to this day, continues to encourage hope, joy peace and harmony to mankind. (as it should be?), who is to say? It still drives us to believe our "truths' (sp) to make us still look forward to a brighter future and hope for all.
