TRANSMUTABLE TRANSFIGURATIONS

© - Tom Hyland - 07-26-08

As the Turns World,
The Thicks Plotten -
And the Blossoms Cherry,
As the Balls Cotton - Rotten!

The Bucket Oakens,
As the Cones Pine -
The Hyenas Laugh Last,
As the Ivies - Poison Entwine!

Baby, Bye-A-Rock,
In the Tops Tree -
The Breaks Bough,
As the Falls Cradle Thee!

Bye-A-Rock, Baby -
All and Cradle -
Blues Cure - Summertime,
The Big - Dippers - a Large Ladle!

Cradle’s in the Cat,
And the Spoon Silvers,
Blue Boy Little,
As the Moon in the Man - Slivers!

Dad’s Comin’ Home When,
Then Together We’ll Be -
Gon’na Have a Time Good,
See - and Wait - and See!

Bye - Bye, American Miss Pie,
Levee by the Chevie Driven -
Boys Old - Good - Drinkin’ Rye,
Whiskeys Die - Onct Forgiven!

My Friend, the Days were Old,
Never End - We Thought -
A Day Forever - We would Sing,
And Dance - and Dance - We Ought!

The Life We’d Live - We’d Choose,
We’d Never Lose the Fight -
The Days Were Those,
My Friend - Young - in All Our Might!

Grace - Amazing - The Sound Sweet,
Me - a Saved Wretch -
Lost Once - and Blind - Was I,
Now Found - Free - Like a Ketch!

Sun - Bright Shining -
Thousand Years - Times Ten -
Praise God’s Days,
No Less Than Begun When!

At Dusk, the Glow Moons,
And the Drops Dew -
While the Chirps Cricket,
As the Tolls Bell - Adieu!

To Dream Perchance?
Perchance to Dream?
Well is - All -
At least T’would Seem!

A Piece of Master! Love your sillies!
The Chirps aren't cricketing much this summer. Not here in Coal Country, anyway. Don't know where they're hiding, but I miss them.

'ey Tom - As creative a word jumble I've seen assembled. Entertaining...they all seem to make inverted sense..haha.

Both funny & thought provoking.

Good on you, sir...
