Got this idea yesterday morning, and my Niece, Bernie and i rattled off a whole slew/slue of words, which I scribbled on paper. Today I gingerly massaged them.

I perspire when I aspire to inspire - how about you?

Rhythms, Homonyms, Rhymes

© - Tom Hyland - 11-17-08

I used a slow, casual Gait, as I walked through the Gate.
You told me don’t be Late, and we Ate at Eight.
He had to patiently Wait, as he lost the Weight.
She, on that Date, was his Date, and Ate some raisins and a Date.
It loosed an obstipation, or constipation, and did her Sate.
We Create an Obstinate Trait, when we Hate.
You people tend to Over-rate an Estimate when you Quantitate.
They often Obfuscate when administering an Opiate to Sedate.

I once walked a Straight path down through the Strait.
You may either Agitate, or Elate, when you Pontificate.
He was on the State Slate, but with an Irate Mate.
She was very Obdurate, which did Enervate her as an Ingrate.
It was a huge worm, an Invertebrate, which did Vegetate.
We seldom feel Great after others’ feelings we do Grate.
You women Invalidate we men, when you Investigate and Interrogate.
They, the Skates, glide by softly, as if sliding on a Skate.

I AM - Because I Urinate, Defecate, and Regurgitate!
You Be-rate your Fate, when you Vacillate.
He was gentle when he did Vaccinate, or Inoculate.
She has a tendency to Exacerbate, rather than Vindicate.
It was Kate who took the Bait out of the Crate.
We had to Abate or Vacate that dreadful tax that was so Serrate.
You authors Predicate and Venerate, in order to Generate.
They Rate their Pate, in order to eXonerate!

Ever have trouble getting a finger in a glove?
Then you must Invaginate!

I agree with Karla, try repeating all verses ten times, very quickly you would 'evaporate.'

Cheers,
Dan

I AM - Because I Urinate, Defecate, and Regurgitate!

You truly have a way with words, my friend!

This could be a serious tongue twister. LOL The way you play with words astounds me! Well done, Tom!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

So glad I didn't have to type this: I'd be bald by now. LOL
