NOTE: 11/18/08 -

Thought I had posted this on AD,
but could not find it ?

Am re-posting now …

Getting ready to dig out all my Christmas Stuff soon. Will be my Third one HERE - and I LOVE IT!

Senior Citizens Only - Quiet - Peaceful -
NO KIDS - NO BARKING DOGS - NO LAWN CRAP -
Not much lawn to even mow -
and now I PAY another guy to do that -
2 minutes from Beltway - 12 minutes to Work -
may be Poor, but ain't no Jerk!

As Mae West used to say:
"C'mon up an' see me sometime..."

TRAILER TRASH

Copyright: August 7, 2005 -Tom Hyland

Here sit I, without a pot to Pith In,
So full of Shit, not to mention Sin!
Eighteen days Nigh of Now,
T’will be Sixty-Five,
Luckier than Hell to be Alive!
High Falutin’ – can’t you See?
Trailer Trash! That’s Me!

No money in the Bank,
Always short of Cash,
Ain’t got no Gal,
Never get no Gash,
But I bought me a Mobile-
Jus’ good enough to Be -
Trailer Trash! That’s Me!

Yeah, found me a Site,
Jus’ for Ole Coots,
A place to hang me Hat,
An’ take off me Boots!
Doin’ somethin’ different, maybe Rash-
A Shit City Citizen to Be -
That’s Me! Trailer Trash!

Can’t afford a Real House,
Poor as a Gnome,
Me an’ my Mobile Trailer Home.
Got news Friday they accepted my Bid,
Wuz so ecstatic – jus’ like a Kid!
Next to Back River -- not the Sea -
Trailer Trash! That’s Me!

But Sattidy Mornin’ done bust my Bubble,
More news jus’ come as Trouble!
Had all my Ducks lined up in a Row,
But the Land-Lady gim’me the Blow!
‘Cause of some litigation with B,G an’ E,
Can’t get me no –E-Lectricity!
Trailer Trash! That’s Me!

Lowest cost, in the lowest Place,
‘Cross from the Sewage Treatment Plant,
I’d make me a Home, snug as an Ant.
It’d be Swell, a Site on which to Sit,
An’ Savor the Smell of Processed SHIT!
Oh, I’ve been a Poet, a Pawn, n’ a Puppet,
Jus’ me n’ my lil Muppet -
Trailer Trash! That’s Me!

Some got it Good, some got it Bad,
I got it Medium, so don’t be Sad.
They saw me a-comin’ – n’ I got HAD!
Return my Deposit - or I’ll get MAD!
Bought me some wine, so I could Crash,
Drowned my Sorrows, had a Bash!
Trailer Trash! That’s Me!

Oh, I’ll get by - by Hook or by Crook,
An’ find me another Nesty Nook.
Might not be Fancy,
Nor per-zactly the Taj Mahal,
Just two steps up, from a Horse’s Stall!
I’ll have me some Fun,
If’n that don’t beat All -
Trailer Trash! That’s Me! Yessiree!

Got me this here Black Cloud, you See,
Follows me around, plain as can Be.
Every time it seems I’m havin’ a Ball,
Get smacked in the Face by Murphy’s Law!
I may be Down, but never for the Count,
Pick myself up, get back on my Mount!
Trailer Trash! That’s Me! Yessiree!

Trailers for sale or rent, Rooms to let, Fifty Cent...
Feel Better now --- after my Vent!

WHAT? Me WORRY? SHEEEEEE-IT!

Today’s Friday, August the Twelfth,
Phone call came for Myself.
Seems somebody dun worked it all Out -
So, now I got no reason to Pout!
Owners now payin’ contractor for Certification,
So, now I’s cram full of E-lation!
Trailer Trash! That’s Me! Yessiree!

Less’n Ole Murphy catches up wif Me,
Will have a new place to take a PEE!
Yassa’ I’s full of misplaced Wit,
But mostly I’s jus’ full of SHIT!
So, my tale continues, could be a Blast -
Tune on in, see if it will Last!
Trailer Trash! That’s Me! Yessiree!

Does he, or doesn’t He ???
Become Trailer Trash --- Let‘s SEE!

All was worked out, money was Spent,
Signed all the papers at Settlement!
Move was done at end of September,
All me goods – me – an’ my MEMBER!
We’re so happy, now we got ROOTS,
Ending this rhyme with – Rooty-Toot-Toots!

YEP - Had 1st Christmas in New Place!
Hope I’m forgiven thru God’s GRACE!

Glad you reposted this as I always wanted to know what REAL trailer trash folks were like, though I have them surrounding me & of course what am I, though I don't necessarily live in a trailer, per se...my place is a motorhome, less room than you got, but mine could move easily, if it would only start...Ed

I haven't been so amused in a long time. Too funny! But hey, a house is only a place to store our stuff. Mobile homes don't get robbed much 'round here 'cause the thieves don't think we own anything of much value. "clever"
Cheers J'nia
