A 'play' on words?

'Word' play?

PLURALITY

More than one Mouse is - Mice.
More than one Goose is - Geese.
More than one Louse is - Lice.
So why isn’t more than one Moose - Meese?

What Ever Happened to Consistency?

If the plural of House is - Houses -
Are Souses the plural of - Sice?
And, is Rice the plural of - Rouses?
And, Nouses the plural of Nice?

Did Common Sense Die?

A long-time joke for Spouses is - Spice.
And the plural for Die is Dice.
But, the plural of Fie is not - Fice!
Nor, is Vouses for Vice!

So - are Grouses the plural of Grouse?

Or - is it - Grice?

Clever, Tom. I appreciate your wit and humor and... ...sometimes there's no making "sense" of certain things. "It is what it is." Love and peace,

Regis

'Meese,' not to be confused with Ed Meece, but does anyone remember where the Meece's lived?

Nice work,
Cheers,

My moose muse, Bullwinkle, has a new girlfriend, and in your honor I'm gonna call her 'Meese.' And if they have any little meeses, I'm gonna make you their godfather!
