Intersting idea........but do we exchange our debt to China with a debt to Mexico? I'd rather see them tariff the crap on any product that could or should be made in the America. Costs less to prduce there????? Tax the product so the final price for the imported is no less than the price for the domestic. At least that would even the playingndfield.

Every year now, we crafty Americans import about $200 Billion worth of Chinese goods – and yet, we sadly wonder why our unemployment rate is now well over 9 percent. ‘Made in China’ has most definitely replaced ‘Made in America.’



And alas, it’s not only the Dollar Stores; it’s just about every retailer and every item that we Americans now purchase - from automobile engines and parts to clothing goods, toys and games, cell phones, computers, television sets, medical equipment, home improvement products, pet products, Christmas trees and decorations, our July 4th fireworks, and even an ever increasing percentage of our food. (We now like to turn more and more of our once productive American farmland into fancy new shopping malls that can peddle even more Chinese goods. Like the good old American Ma and Pa stores, the good old American Family Farm is now sadly a thing of the past.)



And although I like your plan, we’d have to somehow get our ‘we really don’t give a shit’ politicians to ‘nationalize and take over’ the automobile companies, the major grocery store chains, the national pharmacy chains, the big box home improvement stores, and the mega retailers like Wal-Mart. By far, their biggest supplier of all goods sold these days is China. Wal-Mart alone purchases some $18 Billion in Chinese merchandise every year. More than 70 per cent of all products sold at Wal-Mart are now made in China, and more than 80 percent of the 6,000 factories in Wal-Mart's worldwide supply chain are in China. If Wal-Mart were a separate nation, it would rank as China’s fifth-largest export market, ahead of Germany and Great Britain.



We’re such a good customer of China now that they’re more than happy to loan our government billions and billions of dollars every year so our ‘leaders’ can keep bailing out all of our faltering U.S. industries like the automobile companies. If we stop buying ‘Made in China’ who’s gonna loan us enough money to keep our country going??!!



And many still wonder why our unemployment rate in America is now nearing 10 percent. (Although it’s probably much higher if we were to count all of the thoroughly disgusted American citizens who have now completely given up even looking for non-existent jobs.)



When all these pompous politicians who now want to be our next President proudly proclaim: “I’m gonna create more jobs!” I think they really mean that they’re gonna give China even more of our business, and help create even more jobs in China, so they can continue to get bigger and bigger loans from the Chinese to enable them to keep bailing out our rapidly dying nation when they take over the White House.

PS: But don't worry, the super rich say if we agree not to raise their taxes, and we tax them 'fairly,' they'll be more than happy to create more jobs - These will probably be in Mexico, so they can get more cheap labor and not have to pay for any Employee Health Care.



PPS: Sorry about the rant; I better go hug my dogs and a few trees so I can calm down and reminisce about The Good Old Days in America.
