The innermost circle of Dante's hell is reserved for money grubbing lawyers, venal politicians, and weasely car dealers. I brought old faithful to the Hyundai dealer last inspection and he found a small hole in part of the exhaust system. Needed a whole new system, said he. Cost you around $1500.- said he. I went to Pep Boys for a second opinion. They could help me, but told me I could save evenh more money if I went to a custom exhaust place they recommended. Went there, simply replace a section...five minutes while I waited, inspect and change oil...all told $150.-. Thank you Pep Boys. And a speciasl thank you to Lou'sd Custom Exhaust. Since they do general automotive, they arer now my default place to go...
I think most big car dealerships are like that, especially the ones that are part of the big 3, Chrysler, Ford and Chevy...keep an eye on that tire, as if the nail was on the edge, those dealers are all right, that could be dangerous in a turn or if you hit a big bump...sure tires are expensive, but if you want to be safe or not is the end result...e
