In the Face of Mystery

The finite mind cannot grasp the Infinite;
The temporal mind cannot grasp the Eternal.
The tainted soul has succumbed to the diabolic;
The perfected soul has sought for the Divinity.
The stone cold heart falls in love with the self;
The intelligent heart falls in love with the Self.
Eternal darkness lies snug within an egg shell;
Eternal light will never fade and never fully tell.
Infinite despair shines the false light of fool’s gold;
Infinite hope defies every human lie on earth told.
The eye of doubt has a place in the questioning mind;
The eye of certainty draws the wealth of a gold mine.
The universe is a paradox we will never fully grasp;
In perfecting ourselves, we have fulfilled our task.
