Poem Artwork

It wasn't your white glove: of ‘invitant côté’
its esoterism or indices’: Dolce Gabbana.
Curation’s moirai sought ineluctabilities
as battue time of semanticist: Ostara.

Where vernalic reason sees versant on its own:
and peers, a fremitus touch of cordite.
It fears not ferity’s Machiavellian cologne
whose, letch sees need serotine ne’er a light.

A purpose pled, a poet’s besoin:
where zetetically it flourishes: thereby.
True love’s but appetence set on afar.
Whilst, agrestic lust lays truism awry.

As amative thorn rips- vitea fabric apart
to show arcana’s, own pollent of heart.

And cries like hamartia’s own reverent orée:
with, its aphotic secrets: portent’s ennui.

For it’s in jostled sin of darker envoy.
That gives muse entourage and suite to deploy.

As we retrieve: fortuity's symbolic white glove.
What fortune fate: black baccara of love.

Mor.

Egads, seriously, this poem is way over my head, Mor. Good to see you are still writing and drawing inspiration from your archaic English/Anglo-Saxon/Gaelic and romance languages dictionary. ;-)

I have not read the original, but I find the vocabulary rather difficult to navigate in spite of the beautiful sound it makes when read out loud. All I have to say, is kudos for a finely crafted piece.
