The world has lost a friend today

His tragic story I must relay

He was a tiny singer named Dimly

Who has met his demise, oh so grimly

He had just won First Place on a New Talent Show

So eagerly on tour Dimly and his band did go

He was performing at a gig in Great Britain

An enormous crowd had gathered to listen

Just as he began belting out the theme from ‘Cats’

A cricket hater in the crowd smacked him with a bat

And, alas, our dear dear Dimly – was splat

Memorial Services are being arranged
