�I touch your hands

And my heart goes strong,

Like a pair of birds

That burst with song.�

�

Rodgers & Hammerstein,

Younger Than Springtime

�

We may be getter a bit older now

But in springtime it never feels that way

I love watching our world come alive once again

With you by my side on these glorious spring days

�

The birds are all returning now

To our tiny backyard Paradise

And the sight of fresh new green blossoms

Is truly reflected in your lovely spring eyes

�

The spring air is so very crisp and clean

And I marvel as I sit here with you and stare

Everything around us is now scented with lilac

Its essence caresses your lovely wind swept hair

�

And like each and every spring since we met

You�ve somehow managed to renew my world

And very contentedly I now perch here with you

Watching all of this magnificent new life unfurl

�

You and I have truly bonded gloriously

Like two devoted aging birds of a feather

And I hope and pray that we can perch here together

Through many more years of this lovely spring weather

�

�Younger than springtime, are you
Softer than starlight are you

Gayer than laughter are you
Sweeter than music are you
Angel and lover

Heaven and earth
Are you to me�

I just love this song... so, yes, I am crying... but that's probably the vino as well... tis 2227hrs GMT and je suis seule sans mon amour cette nuit... anyway, moving swiftly on... what a pair of turtle doves you make, such lovebirds, so cute... and notice Wilde Boy is commenting on me being a bit heavy with the lipstick again...
