As they diligently try to protect their offspring’s egg

Many of these penguins perish in this arduous process

And this life sustaining drama each year on the ice plays

If we had to endure the rigorous reproduction rituals they do

In as harsh and inhospitable environment as they to reproduce

We would very likely not be the dominant species on this planet

And having children many of we humans would simply just refuse
