Poem Artwork
-->

“His hair grows thick and fuzzy
on every inch of his skin so tan
and that luxurious beard
on his rugged, manly face
tickles when he kisses my.... hand”

In Love With the Geico Caveman,

By AD Member La Belle Rouge

I always knew my rugged caveman look

Would one very fine day be back in style

And La Belle Rouge’s delightful poem

Has really made this old caveman smile

It seems that she’s got a crush on my cousin Ugh

Who does those wonderful commercials for Geico

And thanks to La Belle’s extremely passionate poem

Perhaps to the barber for a shave and haircut I won’t go

My spouse keeps harassing me that I’m so outdated

With my long scraggly beard and my caveman hairdo

But now I can show her La Belle’s love poem to Ugh

And just maybe my irritated spouse won’t be so blue

She seems to constantly harass me these days

That I look as scruffy and as hairy as our canines

But when I look at my caveman mirror reflection

I truly think that it really looks mighty damned fine

Lately she’s even been embarrassed to be seen with me

She makes me wait in the truck while she shops at the mall

But after finding out that ‘The Caveman Look’ is now ‘In’

I bet she’ll soon be lovingly walking at my side Proud and Tall

Thanks, Dear La Belle,

You Sure Are Swell!

PS  My Cousin Ugh Really Thanks You, Too,

When he learns to write – He’ll be contacting you!

Poor little testosterone ape man...love is in a commercial...so superficial for the heart of a caveman.

This is funny!

Oh, NOW I geddit... KNEW I must have been missing something on Belle's write!! It's a send-up, right? Otherwise I'll just post a picture of me in the morning when I wake up, and you'll think Geico Man is George Clooney by comparison... my beard is far more impressive, too. LOL Kaveman Kate xx

I've always said you'd look good as a caveman, dragging the wife by her hair with a club swung up over your other shoulder; now I know where I got this picture of you...it runs in the family...Ed

LOL Mr. Ed you look mighty fine to me. HA HA thank you for a really GOOD laugh. Tell Cousin Ugh writing is not necessary, just drag me to his cave and "club" me. LOL, you are a trip.
