Truly humbling, Ed... and surreal in the light of our latterday events. If those ancient words and sentiments seemed "of the time" then, how much more so now. Perhaps the foresight with which those words were written was entirely prophetic. Right between the eyes, Dad, as always. We are dust and return to dust... if only we could only appreciate that and yet not hasten our demise. Thank you for this, as always. Kate xx

Dear Ed, it's not easy to express how much your magnificent poem moved me. I have never been to that part of the world, but, in this part of the world, there are places where "hands" also reach for other hands across... or perhaps beyond time. May we take them, and, hand in hand, honour and protect that which is not ours to selfishly do as we please or serves us best, but which is, really, a Whole for which we are all responsible... beyond time. And I'm in humble awe of that perfect Ut prayer. Thank you.

Ed-That's such a beautiful piece and you know I love
that four corners area and I've done some exploring
there but not near enough. I am intrigued with the
ruins and the Natives that enriched Mother Earth.
