“My deranged brother Pee Wee,

Invited me to a Poetry Festival Orgy,

And Look What I Got, Instead!”

Edvard The Elder

I’ve seen it many times before

At these old Cave Poetry Festivities

The cave dust truly seems electrified

Everyone filled with romance and glee

Our brother Edvard, The Ladies Man

Never thought this could happen to him

But it was definitely ‘Love at First Sight’

Although his Fiance says he’s much too thin

And I’ll never forget when I introduced them

I could immediately tell Edvard was smitten

I soon spotted he and Beardna in a dark corner

She was cooing, and he was caressing her chin

All it took was a few hours at the Poetry Festival

Before they announced that they were Engaged

Edvard immediately shaved off all the hair on his face

And When Jersey Ed asked about hers, he got enraged

“I’ve changed my mind about hair on women!” he yelled

“I think my Beardna looks fabulous, with hair on her chin;

Now go away and find your own hairy woman, Little Brother,

I have to make Honeymoon plans with my fuzzy bearded Kitten!”

Everyone here at the Creek Cave Poetry Festival is delighted for them

We all chipped in and gave them some scrumptious Limburger Cheese

And if you should soon spot this happy couple at a cave near your home

Don’t be surprised if you see them cooing and picking off each other’s fleas

“Psst! Hey Pee Wee, How Come She Gets To Have Hair?”

“Shut Up, Jersey Devil Brother, and You Better Not Stare.”

“Can’t You See The Love in Edvard’s Eyes?”

“ Aw Shucks, Pee Wee Ed, Now I’m Gonna Cry!”

☺2007, A Very Happy For My Brother Edvard, Mr. Pee Wee Ed

And Please Check Out Kimmy Van Kooten’s Short Story,

A Little Jimmy in the Corner, Eatin Cheese – it’s very good.

I Am Now Completely Overjoyed,

And Not Only By Brother Edvard’s Engagement.

We Now Have Cheese Poems and Cheese Short Stories.

I Bet old G.K. Chesterton is Absolutely Delighted, Too!

so the "Creek Cave Poetry Festival" is one.. amazing what you miss when your offline a few days! (weeks!) Does it include any "cave wall painting" or just degenerates into the usual orgy? And the cheese? Do you have to be a "cheese-head"? Another excuse to pick on your poor brother Ed in NJ I say!

It was bound to happen - love's in the air, and here I thought it was flea dust.

Loved it my friend...you've penned a humorous look at life in the cave, and reassured those women whom battle facial hair that it's not the end of the world to have a little chinny hair!....still laughing...
Blessings,

Too funny!!! It is tough to pick up on the roll here when I have been so scarce lately, but I think I am getting the jest of it all. The Eddies are tossing stones again and somehow Karla got caught up in the crossfire...all in good fun and quite amusing I must admit.
Take care,
Sherry
