“He Ain’t Heavy,

He’s My Brother.”

Neal Diamond

My two wacky brothers Ed

Seem to be bickering today

And they used to be so close

In so very many brotherly ways

They both had facial hair

And they both wore glasses

And they always stuck together

They were always thick as molasses

And what I’ll always remember the very most

From our long ago, ‘Ed’ hitchhiking escapades

Was that old Edvard would often carry old Jersey

Especially on stormy nights, when Jersey was afraid

And although I was the smallest and lightest of the three

Neither one of my brother Eds, ever offered to carry me

They would both look at me, and laugh so very devilishly

“You’re our brother, but you’re just too heavy, Pee Wee!”

Now Ain’t That Somethin!

And Do You Recognize

The Good Samaritan

In the Car,

Who Finally Gave Us All a Lift?

©2008, Mr. Pee Wee Ed

I’m Gettin All Choked Up Now,

But I’ll Get Through This,

Some Way, Somehow…

They’re Both Real Heavy,

And Both Real Ornery,

But They’re Both Still,

My Wacky Brother Eds.

Eddie...I guess I have to agree mostly with Christine Alwin.
"Lighten up" goes a long way.

Say...I keep forgetting...so I'll include it here. I love the "Cat Mountain" on your bio page. It's stuff that I myself like to mess with. Can't get enough of those kitty-cats, can we?

That's George the better one driving, I'd know him any where, any night, when he's trolling, driving around looking for "hum" or yeah, wayward souls....Lady J

Brotherly bond can't be broken
it is spoken1
Through a fine expressive poem
Looks like Bush/Carter in the front seat.
Am I close, tell me - tell me...

That Edvard was always a gullible soul,
Carried me he did so i had time for a joint to roll,
Afterwards though, that joint he usually stole,
Now P-wee ain't no angel but never did he smoke my joints in a bowl...e

Funny things about brothers. They grow apart. Maybe it's male ego. I'm not sure. I have a sister and we are very close. My younger brother seems to have gone his own way. Well, just so he's happy.
God Bless,
Lew
